The purchaser is the consumer who places the order.
The seller, Nordic Calico AS, reserves itself for any errors in the article information and reserves the right to price changes without notice. The price will NOT change on an order the customer has already confirmed.
The seller reserves the right that goods may be sold out.
If the seller cannot deliver according to your order, the seller reserves the right to cancel all or part of the order. Notification of this will be given by e-mail.
Payment
Payment is also offered through Klarna’s solutions. Here you can pay with VISA, Mastercard, Invoice or VIPPS. The card is charged immediately upon purchase.
Shipping and Delivery
Delivery has occurred once the purchaser or his/ her representative has taken possession of the item.
The seller shall deliver the good to the purchaser within a reasonable time frame and will communicate with the purchaser regarding the expected delivery date. In most cases, delivery will occur no later than 30 days after the order is placed by the customer; however at busy times of year such as the run-up to the December holiday period, more time may be required to complete the custom quilting order. The good shall be delivered to the purchaser unless other, special arrangements are made between the parties.
Within Norway, Nordic Calico AS uses Posten to ship items to the purchaser. Typically, the seller will either receive a letter in a mailbox or a small package/parcel to the nearest post office/post in a shop.
The seller will try to deliver the entire order together. If it is not possible to deliver the entire order within a reasonable time, the seller will send what is available/ready at the expected delivery date, and resend the rest as soon as it is available. The purchaser will not be charged for additional costs for redelivery.

Dersom du ønsker å gjøre endringer i trådmønster eller lignende som er oppført på forsiden av “Kundeskjemaet”, ber jeg deg gi beskjed så snart som mulig. Når arbeidet med quilten er påbegynt, vil endringer påføre en ekstra kostnad. Du vil bli belastet for tiden det tar å forberede quilten for endringene du ønsker. Det tilkommer et gebyr på 500 NOK per time for dette arbeidet, som inkluderer fjerning av deler av eller hele sømmer som allerede er sydd inn i quilten. Den estimerte prisen på prosjektet ditt vil bli justert for å gjenspeile både tiden det tar å forberede endringene, samt kostnaden for selve endringene.
Frihåndsquilting er ikke dataprogrammert, men styres for hånd av operatøren. Fordi det gjøres manuelt, vil denne stilen ikke være “perfekt” i klassisk forstand. Frihåndsquilting fremhever derimot det håndlagde uttrykket vi alle setter pris på i håndlagde quilter.
Dersom du låner ut quilten din til en utstilling eller deltar i en konkurranse, ber jeg om at Nordic Calico krediteres for arbeidet.
Greenberg Nordic Calico hjelper deg gjerne med å velge både quiltemønster og trådfarge til prosjektet ditt. Dersom du overlater disse valgene til Greenberg Nordic Calico, innebærer det at du selv har valgt å gi meg det ansvaret. Som profesjonell longarm-quilter vil jeg gjøre valg basert på min erfaring og beste skjønn. Ansvaret for design og trådvalg er begrenset til kvaliteten på det arbeidet som utføres av Greenberg Nordic Calico.
Customer Information
The purchaser information you register with Nordic Calico AS is used in order handling and invoicing, for information, marketing and other things that lead to our services working as well as possible. I guarantee that no one else will have access to use purchaser information for marketing purposes. Nordic Calico AS does not sell e-mail addresses or other information
Conditions of Custom Quilting Services
If the purchaser would like to make any changes to the pattern threads(s), etc. that are noted on the front of the Customer Worksheet please let Nordic Calico AS know as soon as possible. Once work has begun on your quilt, any changes made by the purchaser will be made at the additional expense of the purchaser. Purchaser will be charged for the time spent to prepare the quilt for the changes which the purchaser is requesting. There will be a 500 NOK per hour charge for preparing purchaser’s quilt for said changes, including removal of any or all the stitching that has already been put into the quilt. The estimated cost of purchaser’s project will be re-calculated to reflect the time it takes to prepare the quilt for the changes AND the cost of the changes requested by the purchaser.
Free-motion quilting is not computer programmed and is hand-guided by the operator. Because it is hand-guided, this style of quilting is not “perfect”; rather, free-motion quilting enhances the “handmade” look that we all cherish in our “handmade” quilts.
If the purchaser loans their quilt for public display or enters it into an exhibition or show, please give the courtesy of crediting Nordic Calico AS as the machine quilter.
Nordic Calico AS is happy to help the purchaser decide on the quilting design and thread choices for their quilts. If the purchaser leaves the design and thread choices up to Nordic Calico AS, please understand that the purchaser has made that choice. As a professional longarm quilter, the seller will execute choices to the best of our ability. The responsibly for design and thread choices begins and ends with the quality of the workmanship done by Nordic Calico AS.
Nordic Calico AS values its reputation as a professional long arm quilting business and guarantees the quality of the quilting done for the purchaser, my valued customer.
Right of Cancel
The purchaser may cancel the order in accordance with the Cancellation Act.
The purchaser must inform the seller that he/she will exercise this right within 14 days after the start of the cancellation period. The start of the cancellation time occurs from the date the Customer Worksheet has been signed and approved by both the seller and purchaser. This time limit includes all calendar days. If the period ends on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, the period will be extended until the next business day.
The deadline to exercise one’s right to cancel will be seen as met if notice is sent before the end of the cancellation period. The purchaser has the burden of proof for demonstrating that the right has been asserted, and notice must therefore be submitted in writing (via the cancellation form, email or letter).
If there is a problem with the completed quilt which has already been sent back to the purchaser and for which Nordic Calico AS am responsible, the purchaser must let the seller know within 72 hours of when it was returned. Nordic Calico AS will use every reasonable means at our disposal to make it right. If that is not feasible, Nordic Calico AS will issue a credit for the cost of quilting labor only. Batting, backing, binding and thread charges will NOT be included in the credit. The credit is the maximum liability of Nordic Calico AS. The credit is redeemable for ninety (90) days from the issue date.
The cancellation period begins as follows:
When the right to cancel is exercised, the good must be returned to the seller within a reasonable amount of time and no later than 14 days after notice has been given on the intention to exercise the right. The purchaser must cover the direct costs associated with returning the good, unless otherwise agreed or the seller has not informed the purchaser that he/she has to cover the return costs. The seller may not set fees for the purchaser’s use of the right to cancel.
Conflict resolution
Claims must be directed to the seller within a reasonable time The parties shall attempt to resolve any disputes out of court. If this is not successful, the purchaser may contact the Consumer Authority for mediation. The Consumer Authority can be reached on (+47) 23 400 600 or at www.forbrukertilsynet.no.
