Recommended shipping condition

I recommend that you pack the material in a plastic bag to protect it from any moisture during transport. It should then be shipped in a sturdy cardboard box with hard sides. Make sure the box is well sealed with tape.

Please mark the package clearly for shipping, and remember to include the return address.

Return shipping

I will send your quilt back to you in the manner described above via Norge Post (using flat rate when possible/economical). Priority Mail comes with #NOK of insurance and a tracking number.

Please ask me, in writing, if you would like me to buy any additional insurance on your behalf. It is a smart idea to insure your valuables against loss or damage while in transit with the postal service; however, I don’t require it.

Norgespakke™ large is traceable and applies to packages up to 35 kilos. In the event of loss or damage, compensation is provided for up to NOK 10,000. The delivery time is one to three working days, but on some routes up to five.

How much it costs to send a Norgespakke™ depends on how heavy the package is and whether you pay online or at Posten.
If the package is under 5 kg and is smaller than the maximum size of 35 x 25 x 12 cm, its cheaper to use Norgespakke™ small.

Hobbs Premium wool batting

We recommend that you hand wash products made with Hobbs Heirloom® Wool Batting in cold water and lay flat to dry. If you prefer machine washing, products made with this wool batting can be machine washed – you should use a gentle cycle and cold/cold water and ensure there is no vigorous agitation or spinning during the wash.
