Order a Custom Quilt
I invite you to explore my portfolio gallery or online store to see close-up images of my quilting work – there you will see the quality and craftsmanship that goes into each and every quilt. Thank you for considering a custom quilt. I look forward to working with you!
Your own custom quilt
I use:
- 100% cotton fabric for the back, with the goal of coordinating the colors to highlight the quilt's design.
- 100% cotton batting from Hobbs. (Wool batting is also available on request.)
Important to know:
- A 50% deposit is required before work on your custom quilt can begin.
- The patterns I offer can be customized in terms of colors and to the recipient's taste. However, the pattern design itself cannot usually be changed.

Step 2
Once your purchase is confirmed, I will begin by sourcing fabrics that suit your style. I will share images of the available options, and together we will select colors and fabrics for your custom quilt. You can choose your desired pantograph and thread color – or ask for my recommendations. This collaborative process ensures that the finished quilt will be exactly as you envisioned.
Step 3
Once all the details are finalized, I will begin making your custom quilt. Please note that making a quilt takes time. I like to share pictures along the way so you can follow the process and see your quilt come to life.
Step 4
When the quilt is finished, I'll ship it to you - and soon you can curl up on the couch with your new quilt, or give it as a gift to a special friend or beloved family member.

Production time
- Cutting and sewing: I precisely cut and sew your chosen fabrics together, and assemble them into the top layer of the quilt.
- Quilting: This is the process of sewing together the three layers of the quilt – the top, batting and backing. I use a top-of-the-line Bernina Q-24 longarm sewing machine with Stitch Regulation technology and a state-of-the-art Q-Matic automation system for longarm quilting.
- Finishing: The final step in quilt construction includes hemming the quilt, as well as careful washing and drying to ensure a polished and professional result.
Care and washing instructions
With proper care, your quilt will be a cherished memory for many years!
I always pre-wash all finished quilts before shipping to ensure quality and color stability. Please follow the attached washing instructions to avoid problems such as color bleeding. (Returns cannot be accepted if the product is damaged as a result of incorrect washing, such as washing in hot water.)
Machine wash: Wash the quilt in cold water with a mild detergent. It is always recommended to wash the quilt alone, both to prevent damage or discoloration from other fabrics, and to allow it to move freely in the machine and be thoroughly cleaned.
Drying: Tumble dry on medium to low heat. Enjoy how warm and beautifully textured it feels when it comes out of the drum! ❤️
* Quilts should never be dry cleaned, as the chemicals and process can damage the fibers.
