If you send your own batting, please read
- The batting must be at least 10 cm larger than the quilt top on all sides.
For example: If your top measures 150 × 175 cm, the batting must be at least 170 × 195 cm.

Backing Fabrics
If you send your own backing fabric
- Please make sure that the backing fabric is 10 cm larger than the quilt top itself along all sides.
For example, if your quilt top is 150 x 175 cm, your backing fabric should be at least 170 x 195 cm.
- I recommend that you pre-wash this fabric before sending it to me.
Backing fabric will often shrink up to 3% after washing, depending on the material you have chosen. This can negatively affect your finished quilt, causing it to shrink and pucker.

Basting
If you are hand-making your quilt(s) at home with a sewing machine, I can baste your quilts for you. The basting is done with a high-gloss polyester thread with long stitches, so that the basting can be easily removed later.

Hand sewing of the binding to the back of the quilt is done by the customer.
